Project Location

The Sarmaşık Regulator and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) Project is located on Maki Stream in the Eastern Black Sea Region of Türkiye. The project area lies within the boundaries of Of District, Trabzon Province. The Sarmaşık Regulator is situated in the headwaters section of Maki Stream, where it is still known as Karçal Stream, at a thalweg elevation of 1661.50 m, on the right bank at the northern foothills of Kambe Hill.
